FAQ's
To be honest, so far nobody has asked any questions let alone frequently asked.
However these are the questions that I imagine people might ask and questions I have found during my research. When I was doing my photo-journalist course we were taught the dying art of how to write a caption; the basis was the 5 W's: Who? What? Why? Where? When? That is always a good starting point, we can iron out the details as we go along.
I have added some pointers below.

What is the best way forward?
The easiest way is to send an email to me using the Contact Me box below with just a little information about yourself and what you would like from me
Who?
-For a 1:1 Portrait this is an easy one !!
-For the Family Portraits you may want a few different set ups, core family and then possibly extended family or family with and without pets or would you like some individual portraits....so many possibilities ... this is why this needs a little thought and planning.
-For the London Photo Tour shoots it is good for me to know who is in your group as there are limits.
-For the Commercial Shoots it is good to plan ahead make sure that the people you would like to be in the shoot are in agreement and prepared to sign the model release. (We will provide these)
What?
This really is: "What do you want to get out of the shoot?"
It is much better to tell me what you are expecting from the shoot before we start than to tell me afterwards when there is little I can do. I will always do my best to meet and hopefully exceed your expectations!
Where?
Generally this is one of the most important questions to consider, the "Where" or the location. For 1:1 Portraits, Family Portraits and Commercial shoots the choice of locations are essential to the photographs. If I am coming to you for a photoshoot we hopefully will have turned over some ideas and settled on some places. I have added below a selection of places near to me that show the sort of outside places that make great backgrounds for shoots. Much time can be wasted if this hasn't been thought about. It does make sense to try to have a 'back up' location if the rains come.
For the London Tour the locations are generally dependent on the package you have opted for.
Why?
For the 1:1 Portraits it really helps me to know why you want the portrait doing before I get there. I may need certain equipment and we may need to discuss props
For the Family Portraits it may be that one of your children is off to University or leaving home to get a job, you are having a big gathering and would like a proper photograph or just you would love to have a picture of you all together in a favourite place
For the London Tour it is just so much better to have a set of professional photographs to remember your trip by.
It is always so much better to get a set of professional images for your Commercial businesses. You are not just paying for the photographs you are paying for the years of experience of the photographer. It is often better to have someone from the outside looking in!
When?
It is better to get the dates sorted as quickly as possible especially if there are specific reasons for the photographs taking place. There may be options to change the date if the weather looks as if it is going to be really bad but sometimes 'the show must go on!" As I have mentioned in the "Where? section, it is good to plan for a back up location in case it does pour down especially if the day cannot be changed.
